Spring 2010 Training Workshops

BCKC Spring Training Workshops begin Tuesday, March 30th at 6:30 p.m. behind the Chico Elks Lodge (1705 Manzanita Avenue). There will be classes for puppy socialization, basic obedience, rally, and conformation. Sign up is on Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:30 through 7:15 p.m. at the same location. Training sessions go through Tuesday, May 18.

Mission Statement

The purpose of Butte County Kennel Club, Inc. is: to ensure the ongoing public benefit from purebred dogs through programs and activities; to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs by doing all in its power to protect, advance the interests of, and conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience trials, agility trials, tracking tests and any other event for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of The American Kennel Club; to encourage sportsmanlike competition at such events.

Our Board Meetings (open to the general membership) are held at 7:00 p.m. every first Wednesday of the month and are immediately followed by our General Meeting. These meetings are held in
